Nice build. I don't think you will have any issues hitting your power goals. Is the F1R on there for mock-up purposes or is the engine being installed with it on?

You need something to catch the driveshaft when it flys out.

Damn you must be phsycic.

He didn't list cam specs, tire size, or what type of racing if any he is doing. Where did you draw this conclusion?

Argent,

Definately looks like a nice build.

lol...

Nittos (stock rims) don't have the cam specs handy. I'll be using it just on the street, with a run on the dragstrip maybe 4-5 times a year. It's just the right gearing to get that heavy ass off the line..

Yeah you should be fine with that ratio. With a 28.7" tire you should be around 6500 RPM in 4th gear at 141 MPH. I will caution you about spending money on the stock diff though. With the manual trans you will be MUCH safer with a 9" setup or The LPE Diff. Less money in the long run.

Very nice Agent Utah. You should bring that thing to some of our events here in Utah. If you ever go to DYNO Days at JDP Motorsports in Sandy I'm pretty sure you'll win for highest RWHP when you're done building that thing.

Love the build but I would be worried with a LS3 stroked to 429ci with 9:8:1 and using LS3 heads with an F1R. The McLeod RXT is awesome but I am guessing it is only a matter of time before the trans fails without upgrading it as mine didnt last very long. I would highly recommend a driveshaft as well as you have put together a great build but the stock ds could cause some big issues if it comes apart. Good luck you are going to love the F1R.
