Catch Can Ordering Help

Wondering which is the best? Elite gen 1 or 2? Moroso? Mighty Mouse (looks best IMO)? Apex? What's the best bang for the buck?

My questions though, what is a check valve? Do I need it? Single or double exit? This is for the elite catch can gen 2

With the Mighty Mouse, what is -6AN, -8AN, and -10AN ?

My mods include: CAI Intake, VMAX throttle body, SOLO HF cats, X-Pipe, muffler delete, FSP Tune.

Thanks in advance!

A check valve is for a forced induction (supercharger) system.

You need the basic can for your configuration (1 input & 1 output).

I bought an Elite Gen 1 and am happy with it. If I had to order today I'd probably get the Gen 2. I do not believe the Apex can is yet available for an LFX.

How many miles on the car?

Just hit 30k. I have a friend of mine that's going to clean it up for me and then do the install. He's waiting for me to order the can.

I ordered mine from Apex. I got the Elite...In black, of coarse. The -6an - 10an is referring to fitting sizes.

I'd recommend an upper induction cleaning before you put the can on.

It's to clean a good portion of the stuff out that got in before you put the can on.

Gotcha. Know the difference between gen1 and gen2? Jdp offers both
But I'm curious to see how "black chrome" looks

That's exactly what he's going to do

Our V6 catch can is not available yet (that is soon to change) so the next one I would recommend is Elite Gen 1. You only need a single outlet can for your application. Stay away from Mighty Mouse. It is all show.

Chase! I was hoping you would chime in. Any chance you could post a pic of the "black chrome" option? Also, was y'all's website down yesterday? Tried ordering but the page wouldn't even load.

I have never seen one of their black chrome cans in person or in pictures. Typically black chrome is kind of a smoked chrome. It still has a chrome shine but it tinted.

We have had a ton of traffic the past week or so but it has not been down that I am aware of. If you ever have any issues just give us a call and we will get you taken care of.

Is it anything like the black chrome on wheels? If so I'm ready to order
