Catch Can Ordering Help
Wondering which is the best? Elite gen 1 or 2? Moroso? Mighty Mouse (looks best IMO)? Apex? What's the best bang for the buck?
My questions though, what is a check valve? Do I need it? Single or double exit? This is for the elite catch can gen 2 With the Mighty Mouse, what is -6AN, -8AN, and -10AN ? My mods include: CAI Intake, VMAX throttle body, SOLO HF cats, X-Pipe, muffler delete, FSP Tune. Thanks in advance!

A check valve is for a forced induction (supercharger) system.
You need the basic can for your configuration (1 input & 1 output). I bought an Elite Gen 1 and am happy with it. If I had to order today I'd probably get the Gen 2. I do not believe the Apex can is yet available for an LFX. How many miles on the car?

I ordered mine from Apex. I got the Elite...In black, of coarse. The -6an - 10an is referring to fitting sizes.

It's to clean a good portion of the stuff out that got in before you put the can on.

Chase! I was hoping you would chime in. Any chance you could post a pic of the "black chrome" option? Also, was y'all's website down yesterday? Tried ordering but the page wouldn't even load.
