Need to use an open ended wrench to fully disengage the threads. After some wiggling, pulling, and cursing it comes out. Snug but doable.

I don't remember it being any issue. Can you use a pry bar some how?
Where in TX are you? If you're not far from me I can try to take a look? Maybe take some pictures and post them so we can see the problem.

No the head of the bolt hits arm straight across and bolt still has few more inches to pull out

I'm curious how much clearance you need. I just looked at some of my pictures and I can see where it would be close but maybe a little hammer tapping from the other end will get it past? Just depends on how much it's hitting the LCA.
Also, can you take some pressure off the LCA? Maybe use a jack to lift up on the LCA some and then a little hammer action......just brain storming.

Are you talking about the outside end, closest to the rotor? If so, it looks like the bolt may be in backwards. The nut should be on the rear facing side and the head facing the front. Maybe it got installed that way when the control arm was disassembled and separated from the spindle (?). You might have to remove the control arm to get the bolt out.

When you have the bolt pulled out as far as you can, try to spin it counter clockwise while tryin to wiggle it around the control arm. It'll come out, don't remove the control arm.
