apex and relocate kit ordered.

Ok, so I am eagerly anticipating my Apex scoop and washer relocate kit. Hoping it should be in today or tomorrow for a Wednesday install. I just hope my dremmel is up to the task. Other than a jack to lift the driver side front, any other tools I need at this point? Or just follow the DIY section? hehe

You will probably need a drill to drill the holes to mount your remote fill neck for your reservoir. Other than that, hand tools, and something to trim the plastic piece behind the bumper.

Dremel with big cut off wheel, sockets, zip ties and some loctite blue will do it...you will cut off another 1/2 inch from what directions say.....

Yes. I couldn't really feel a difference, but I logged the intake temps and there you saw the improvements.

My dremmel was a piece of junk so I used a utility knife with a new blade! Easy and took about 5 minutes! Have a few cold beers on hand when you get ready to reinstall horn bolt! May have to have a couple to ease the pain while installing, or have a couple to celebrate, once you get that done!! Lol! GL!

That material is pretty easy to cut. It is somewhere between plastic and rubber.

This is the Apex Scoop and Washer Tank Replacement Kit.

It mounts behind your front lower grill on the far drivers side. This places it just below your aftermarket air intake. It funnels cool fresh air directly into the air box. Exactly what your engine needs to make more power.

I just installed mine after having it for over a month. did notice a nice gain in throttle response. Only question is there supposed to be a slight bulge on the inner fender or did I do something wrong. Other than that pretty east install and nice performance gains thanks Apex
