The reason my 2LT has LS wheels is that I bought them as additional wheels for my winter rubber. It's really not a great idea to mount and un-mount summer/winter rubber every season as it messes up your rims and tires long term AND it costs more money also!

The TCS light come on as soon as you try to power on slick surfaces and it kinda sound a little like ABS, but not as loud. I actually though something was broken the first time I heard it. It's a grating sound, very mechanical like a hard clicking/whirring. I tried to do some fishtails in a parking lot and the TCS kept bringing me back in line. I didnt' yet try to turn it off to do a couple of full on fishtails as my wife does that "eeep" sound and holds on as if we are going to crash!

I have always taken whatever ride I had and practised in an open lot when winter hits. It's important (in my opinion) to get familiar with the level of traction and control you actually have in adverse winter conditions. This is invaluable experience as you know more how to react should things get squirly on the real road.

More pics of my snowy adventures soon!

The perma-grin effect pictured above by a good buddy giving me a ride in my Camaro!
Used 75 Camaro = $3500
Rolling restoration over 10 years = $5000
$5 of gas burned in 10 seconds = Priceless!

I'm hoping they look as mean as I think they will:
I have that exact setup on my Vic red LT. Preforms very well in the snow/ice. If you want to see a pic just go into my profile, i made a thread in the wheels/tires section when i got them on.

i always do the same. I used to take the fusion and practice in parking lots all the time. i then learned how to drift in snow really good. ever since then, i drove the fusion and had no problems with it at all, any time it started to slip away, i knew exactly how to control it or use it to my advantage.
I wanna see some vids of camaros doing donuts in a snowfilled lot lol

[QUOTE=TheCaptain;1278253]It's because Montreal is in Quebec, and their smart lawmakers decided it to BE LAW that ALL VEHICLES HAVE SNOW TIRES between sometime from the startish of November, until late March. Way toooooo many accidents and claims from retards driving on all seasons, and worse, summer tires!

I think the rest of Canada should get that law too!

Ontario is getting that Law in for next year

MUCH RESPECT to those who are actually using their Camaros. It kills me that some people buy these great cars then are scared to get a drop of water on them or will only drive them in 80 degree sunny weather...

I'll drive all year/seasons but will still be a fanatic about keeping her clean and safe. I have Camaro passenger rules like; close the door with the handle not the window; feet Off the dash; don't scuff the door jamb when entering; no eating drinking or smoking. The new tires feel much better. The ride is a bit softer and I can really feel the grip.
These pics are from today after a touchless wash and blow dry.
