Whew...Decided...Eibach...Why?

Decisions, man, you gotta love it....

I read pretty much everything I could here trying to decide on what sport package I wanted to go with, Pfadt, Pedders, Hotchkis and Eibach. I was leaning hard towards Pfadt but this is why I finally decided to go with Eibach.

The first reason is (and this was huge) the Eibach kit was the only one that was specific to the V6 model. I gotta believe that the front end on the SS is quite a bit heavier then the aluminium V6 in the LT. Therefore I'm surprised that all the other kit's use the same front coil for both the SS and LT. I think it's fair to mention that Hotchkis doesn't recommend their kit for the LT just for this reason.

Second, price (usually isn't that important to me but since I've been out of work, it is) I got Eibach's Pro-Plus Kit, # 38143.880 which include, (4) Springs and Front and Rear Sway Bars for 454.74 from Streetside Auto http://www.streetsideauto.com/. That is to my front door.

I should recieve everything next week and I'll follow up with pix's and a review. Thank to everyone that helped me come to a decision. I can finally rest at night!

I agree....Price is an issue because there are so many mods I want to do. It's hard to beat getting the whole kit for what the others are charging for just the Sways. They may not be the best quality of the bunch but I'm sure they are going to be good enough for me since I don't race the car and won't be pushing it to the limits.

I'm looking on Streetsideauto.com and can't find the price for them. May have to give them a call on Monday to check things out. That's definately the cheapest price I've seen. Hope it's the same for the LS3.

Wow! Good price! I'll be interested is seeing how things go for you. I have nearly the same car and would like to do similar mods to mine in Spring.

That is the same choice I made.Having had previous experience with this product as I have the Mustang version on my wifes '08 and I'm really happy about how it works there.Ordered mine from Tire Rack but won't get it installed till I get a string of good weather, sucks not having a garage.

Called Street Side Auto just a min ago. They don't have any Eibach Sways and he doesn't know if they'll get them. I need them for an SS but while I was there I noticed they were out of stock on the V6 springs. No Sway Bars available for either.

Keep checking back and/or go with AutoAnything.com

FYI, i've got both the V6 and SS Eibach Pro-Kit springs in stock and on sale. The SS springs in particular are a smokin deal!

I have also made the decision to go with Eibach for their reputation. I have not had a chance yet to install the springs and sways but I will be soon.

I am still recovering from the Holidays.
