Im sure you probably saw your car sold at the auction today. I was a player on it, wanted to bring it home to NC to make a dedicated track car out of it and leave mine sitting in the garage. Not knowing how deep and wet it got I was in at 21 and it sold for 23 ironically to someone in Mooresville NC about 10 miles from me. Im going to keep an eye out for it but wanted you to know that it probably went to someone who will take good care of it.

Oh my brother , do i ever know what you went thru during those hours of not knowing how high the water was going to get at your home. I too didnt sleep for 2 days worried if i would have a good exit plan. God it hit me in my stomach when i read your post. Brought back all the feelings i went thru constantly monitoring the water level at the bayou which ties into the sabine river. Homes not even 600 ft from mine had 3ft of water in them. I was lucky im on a slight hill but i did have a plan should everything turn south. Also had a brother battling cancer i was tending to across town which we just lost him the 4th of Nov. But hey your here and your family is also so together y'all can start this journey over and you never know friend this time might just be the best years of your life. Not gonna say too much about your loss because i know how it hurts and i am TRULY SORRY. Good luck to you and yours and god speed my friend

Sorry for your loss brother. Material things can be replaced. Glad you and your family are ok. There will be time for another one when you get everything else straightened out.
