On pd blowers I think 8 or 9 psi is about tops with the stock l99 cam. Much more and you have too much boost at the peak torque and detonation is too hard to avoid without giving up more power than its worth. That's why I went centri. 7 psi peak torque, 13 psi at 6200 rpm redline and all is good.

I think you should invest ID 850's, the fuel rail mod, ZL1 pump, ADM FPCM, and then push 8 or 9 psi. You will love the power once the tune is on and You have plenty of fuel supply.

It's an issue with all the NW 102's. I've tried all the revised ones. We tried 4 in one day at the camaro fest last year.

So you think my whipple would be fine with the 3.875 pulley about 9 to 10 psi. I am visiting ted over the fourth of july and will pick one up if JRE has it in stock. 20 hp is not to bad I will take it.

NYNY69 is running a 3.875 on his whip and its been ok. I'd check with Ted and get his thoughts on the fuel aspect of it. I think you'd be ok.

I'll have my Nick Williams 102 for sale soon. Love the TB, but mine has shut twice at the track. I'm at 718 rwhp and see about 11 lbs of boost.

How long until you're looking to sell? I won't be seeing the other side of 500rwhp in my Camaro ever, so I'd like to think I won't have that shutting issue by the sounds of it.
