What would the offset be to order

What would the offset be to order 8x18's and 12x18's for the SS?

Anything else for specs when you order? Because not all wheel dealers are Camaro experts and only want a sale not the responsibility.

Thanks for your help.

Doug, sorry man, I don't think the 18x12's are going to fit. The absolute widest wheel I've seen fit on these 5th Gens is 11.5. I know Forgestar makes an 18x11 (F14 & CF5)that will fit nice. As far as the 18x8, it really depends on the design of the wheel. You might have the proper offset, but if the wheel doesn't have enought mounting pad height (google it), it won't clear the Brembo Calipers without using spacers. Was there a certain wheel you were looking at?

I was looking at custom wheels from Raceline - anyone deal with these guys?

I didnt know 18x12 would not fit?? So 11.5 is max?

I may want to upgrade brakes to bigger so I want max clearance for future any other suggestions - thanks

Hmmm, never heard of Raceline before. If they can not tell you with any certainty if their wheels will fit on your car, i would look elsewhere. There is a long-time member on here named "Fen", he has 20x11.5" wheels. I don't know if 18x11.5 would fit. Like I said, it depends greatly on the design of the wheel. And if you plan upgrading to a larger brake system later, 18's probably won't fit over that larger brake system.
