Yeah you can tell that there is a slight bulge, but doesn't look all that bad!

Sux if you had the option of 11.5s what would be the offset? Do you think its worth a try for me or just stick with the 18x11?

I dont drive it much want the max meat on the street for the track and I drive it to the track. Thanks we all appreciate your efforts.

Honestly, with the 11.5" the tires would either stick out or rub on the inner fender.

When I first got my 18" Forgestars I had ordered some 28" 255/50 18 for the front, that looked REALLY goofy and handled like an SUV. I only made one trip around the block and took them off.

So what size front tires did you switch to after running the 255/50/18?

I was looking into front tire options if I decided to get 305/45/18 rears. But there aren't many options in 18" that are a similar diameter.
The popular setup is 265/50/18 up front with 305/45/18 out back. I really don't want to run a tire that wide up front if I don't have to.

I like the stock 245s up front. They aren't too skinny for street use, but they're not too wide for the drag strip. A wider tire up front will slow the car down a little in a straight line.

I went with 245/45 18. I don't like the really tall tires everyone around here runs with 18s. They are only 26.7" tall. Are you looking for drag radials for the rear or street tires? What's funny is there are more drag radial portions than street tire options, that's why I have such a hard time finding tires.

What size wheels are your running?

I ordered 18x9 and 18x11 Forgestars with 275/45's up front (27.7") and 345/35 M&H drag radials out back (28"). Should be perfect.

I'm running the stock 245 Pirellis up front with 305/35/20 NT555Rs out back. But lately I've been considering dropping down to an 18" wheel/tire setup to improve my 60' times. But as mentioned, I don't want a wider tire up front if I can help it. Putting a wider tire up front is a NO NO if you're into running the best times.

But my options are limited as you know in the stock ride height. I might have to consider dropping down in diameter as you mentioned.

Are you sure those drag radials will fit? They sound like they are gonna rub. What offset 18x11s? My 315/40 18 (28") drag radials would rub a tiny bit on hard cornering.

I'm not a fan of the giant 305/45 18 tires, but if you want to run those there are plenty of 245/50 18 (27.6" tall) and 245/55 18 (28.6" tall) tires you can run.

To stay close to the stock diameter I'd have to run the 245/55/18s, but that is such a high profile tire.

Why do you want to stay so close to stock diameter?

If I drop down too much I'm pretty sure I'll need to get my car re-tuned. I'm not sure how it will affect my speedo and shift points (change gearing) being an auto with a stall (very easily bumps rev limiter).

But I was thinking maybe 245/50/18 front and 305/40/18 out back. They would both be 27.80" (basically 1" shorter than stock).

Oh, yeah i forgot about you auto guys' shift points. I think the 245/50 & 305/40 would be a good setup. Or even do 245/45 & 315/40 like I had, that way you have smaller lighter fronts and taller rears. That set up was only a 4.6% difference in diameter.

You can have up to a 6% difference in front/rear before the ABS/Stabilitrack freaks out.

M&H's are undersized so they're more like an actual 325. Not sure on the offset I ordered them through Tony. If I have to do a little massaging that's cool, I'll make them work.
