line lock switch locations

Where did you guys put your line lock switches?
I see some power switches on A pillar and lock switch on shifter shaft.
Any other ideas for Auto trans?

Just thinking of a practical place considering keeping hands and arms in a reasonable comfortable position during burnout, since this is new to me.

Here is where the power switch is, and the activation switch is the horn button...

Turn this switch on, the blip the horn... If the horn works, the line lock isn't...If no horn, then you're good to go...

Press the brake, push the horn and get with it... when you're ready to roll out, just release the horn and hold the steering wheel...

I mounted mine like the photo JM10 posted. Works great, and I actually like the way they look right there. Plus I have a manual, so it keeps my hand close to the shifter.

I was going to buy one of those shifter handle with the paddle shift buttons and use those switches but gave up on the idea of using a line lock.

I put the master switch under the dash beneath the steering wheel and the momentary switch in the cigarette lighter location. Completely stealth and well within reach. Nothing can accidentally triggered either.

The pistolgrip shifter doesn't have switches for line lock and I don't think you can use the tap shist switches for this purpose. Most who use my shifters with line lock or nitrous for drag racing use this one.

I use the Cruise Cancel as the temporary switch. Then I hid the power switch inside the AC duct to the left of the steering wheel. Unless you look for it, you don't even know it's there.

Did you use the cruise cancel because it is not a data line?
Do you have the wiring diagram?
