Strange noise coming from behind the dashboard on the passenger side

I took my Camaro in for a strange noise coming from behind the dashboard on the passenger side. Several mechanics said it was from a line that sends coolant to the engine as you accelerate. The problem was that none of them have been trained on the new Camaro and had no idea how to fix it. I called several dealerships in my area and all said the same thing. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Coming from the passenger side, behind the glove box area...Does it sound like rice crispies when you pour milk in? If so, there is a tsb for it. Dealers just need to look it up and it tells them what parts they need and how it is done.

Does anyone know when dealerships are gonna have more trainned staff for the camaro?

Yeah I have this noise too. It's kinda a squeaky/creaking noise. Right near the A-pillar. So now I have the TSB number (dont know what that means), but what is the problem?

Google the tsb number I listed and the post on it here will pop up. Much faster than searching for it here since I can't remember which section it was in. I have the same noise in my car and I have an appt with dealer to fix it. I told the dealer about the tsb as they had no clue.

My car 2SS/RS A6 was having the same problem. I took it in and they fixed it using that TSB as a reference. No more noise. All they do is install a valve in the hose leading to the heater core.

Subject: Gurgle Type Noise Coming from Instrument Panel (IP)/Heater Core Area (Perform Repair as Outlined)

Models: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro
Equipped with V8 Engine (RPOs LS3, L99)

Condition

Some customers may comment on a gurgle type noise coming from the instrument panel (IP)/heater core area.
Cause

Coolant flow within the heater core may be causing this noise.
Correction

Install a one-way flow valve, GM P/N 10188036, into the inlet heater hose using the following procedure.

This is the condition and correction for the problem being talked about. Nothing major just a customer satisfaction fix.

Same here. Took it in and they found a hampster running on his wheel. They shot the hampster with a 9mm. Problem solved.

Took my car by today to have the dealer look up parts on bulletin 09-01-37-001. Turns out there is a recall #09207: Service Update for HVAC Reprogram, Engine Harness Position Inspection and rear spoiler fasteners (Sep 22, 2009). My service manager has called around and found out that after the HVAC reprogram there has been a few cars that suffer from further HVAC damage.

Noise will be fixed next week but he suggest waiting for a programming update to the recall rather than risk a more expensive fix to the HVAC system.

Hope this helps.
