Plastic Dip Experts... step inside (Pics & more to come)

Got board the last couple days, so I thought I would take a look at this plastic dip product everyone has been talking about. My first attempt was going to be on my TSW center caps that stick out like a sore thumb on my matte gunmetal wheels. Well, success!!! Anyways, I figure it is reversible if I don't like it, so I started looking at the rear tail light bezels and thought… why not? My question is this... I just put a coat on the bezels and they came out good with an even coat. Do you guys recommend me waiting about 5 hours and applying a second coat for durability or is one good enough? I'm almost afraid to do another one because I'm not sure how it will adhere.

Here’s the center caps
Before

After

Bezels

Here some pics on the car I took with my phone. I think it Looks GREAT!!! Really enhances that sinister look of the tail lights.

Not sure about your question, but DAMN those wheels look great with the dipped centercaps!

Thanks... the stock caps were driving me crazy. I am really happy with the way it turned out.

I put four coats on my tail light bezels. I used about 3/4 of the can on the bezels alone.

It was plasti dip. I had no trouble with the additional coats adhering to the previous ones. I did seem to notice that the more coats I put, the more textured it appeared. But, I didn't mind because the slight texture on the bezels kind of matched the finish on the stock rear diffuser.

I'm thinking about that myself. Seems like it would be a very low risk proposition. Easily reversible if you don't like how it turns out.
