any crue members out there - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

is there any hardcore motley crue fans out there? I know I am pumped about the new album and for crue fest to come to fiddler's green in late July! I hope there are a few people that will ensure that the first cd put into their Camaro will be a motley crue cd. I know that the first cd in my Camaro will be Dr. Feelgood. followed by a mix of Motley Crue, Poison, Def Leopard, and anytin else that sounds alike.

Yup. I'm a fan. But, I'm more a fan of the old stuff...too young to fall in love, kickstart my heart, shout at the devil, live wire, dr. feelgood, etc. The newer stuff never got my attention. And, and I'm sorry for saying this, but I think Vince just doesn't have the voice that he used to.....just not the same.

neither does James Hetfield... it's what happens when you get older...

But w/ James it's not quite as noticable as Vince.

Now, Axle on the other hand.....hrmmmm and ouch. I sure hope the "new" album sounds good. Axle's only been gone a good 15 years now???

i don't know about that... Metallica's "new" sound i think is due to his voice aging some what... the st. anger album was terrible IMHO... their last good single that come out was "Fuel" (which is on my "first drive list") I haven't heard much that had anything that was close to as good as the black album or anything before that... on the topic of Axle Rose... i haven't heard anything about his voice for a long time... hopefully he did something to get it back in singing shape before cutting the album...

Don't mean to hijack the thread w/ Axle here, but his voice was NOT good at the MTV video music awards a while back. It was his first appearance in like 12 years. Then, I heard snippets of stuff that was supposed to be newer and (in the nicest way possible to Axle), it just wasn't the same....

And not only do I see what you are saying about James, but I agree.

yea crew fest will be here in toronto wooohooo. altho im not a fan of montely crew, should be a kick a$$ show tho.
while u guys are talken about metallica, check out missionmetallica.com and keep a eye out for their new song that is suppose to coming out soon.

Crew is alright... should be a hell of a show though. If mission metallica is like their old stuff i'm in, but other than that... i'm not too sure...

The Crue has still got it when it comes to live shows. Having heard their new song "Saints Of Los Angeles" I am really looking forward to their new CD in June.

im a motley crue fan i love all the hard and heavy stuff. i just wish there was good heavy metal coming out these days. i havent heard anything new i like, maybe im just old and out of the loop.
