Anyone ever noticed this????

I'm probably not the first to see this but when you grab your door handle and pull it the window rolls down quickly (about an inch) and when you close the door it rolls back up against the seal.....I didnt realize it at first, it took a few times for me to figure what the heck was going on.

Yeah I believe it's to help the door seal well everytime you get in/out of the vehicle. It's pretty neat =o

It's neat unless the battery is dead.

my salesman said it was because the cabin is so tight the air pressure needs to equalize so door shuts better

Yeah it's supposed to equalize like the space shuttle, in case you lose atmosphere.... Dealers are such a joke...

The Mustangs had this feature for a few years. Many cars have it.

Yeah it's called Indexing. Most cars that don't have a top frame to their door eg) our cars, window just hits the top weather striping, have this feature now-a-days. My Mustang doesnt have a top frame, but it doesn't Index, and it's kinda loud inside, and it almost leaks... it gets like, damp but never a drip. I love the indexing on the Camaro.

It helps keep your weather stripping new and your cabin quiet!

And rofl at the pressurization comment, Camaro is not some deep sea submarine.
