BC Coilovers
I am lowered on BR type coilovers about 1.2" and dont seem to have much space between the top of the tire and the wheel well to go much lower. Nor does it seem on the coilover body that I have much space left for lowering (about 3/4" between the rings in the front)? The threads I see with the car lowered 1.5" all around, I don't see how that is feasible with what I am looking at regarding rubbing. Running stock 245/45r20 and 275/40r20 rear tires.

Anyone running these have comments/pictures on their ride height, wheel size, and rubbing?

I ran BC coilovers with about a 1.5" drop and 275 on 20x9 all around. No rubbing at all. Just watch how close you pull up to the curbs.

I have BCs about a 2" drop.
1. wheel offset can determine how much you can lower the car. 2. Camber Alignment (negative camber will help you tuck the tire, dont go crazy on the negative camber do.. -0.8 max or youll have tire wear problems.) 3. width if tire and wheel. Im not sure on stock wheels.. but My setup is Zl1 replicas per GM specs 11" wide wheel rear with 295/35/20 michelins -----10" wide wheel front with 275/40/20 clearance is tight as a virgin in my car, but no rubbing |

Thanks!!
I still had about 1/2 drop between the perches. But i actually had to lift it about 1/4 all around because it was simply too low to be a DD. Anyways... Here is two other pics while it was still nice and low. |

The spring rates are the factory bc br type coiliver rates. I can get pics soon and it's been around 200 miles. They do seem to have settled some for sure. I have about 3/4" between my collars up front left for adjustment and about 1-3/16" in the rear.
