I am very disappointed in the tap shifter due to its inconsistent delay being tied into the Torque management. All the professional drivers I know who have driven this this thing call the paddle shifters worthless! I have to agree. The delay is absolutely horrible. I have hit the limiter so many times trying to anticipate the shift delay and its pissing me off. I have talked to professional drivers who say that they can not get used to it. I really hope like hell that there will be a way to minimize the delay and Torque management issues with the tunning software sometime in the future. Its fine for "modest" down shifting into a corner to get the engine in the power, hit the throttle and power out but that's about it. It maybe race inspired but they are not even close to a race set up. The delay will throw anyone's rhythm off in left field something awful! I gave up along with everyone else I have talked to about them.

This is the only thing I dislike about the car. I can live with this small problem. Just hope the tuner software developers come up with a fix because I want to use them!

I doubt many here will ever drive the car on the edge like this and experience the frustration I and many other have. If you don't drive the car on the edge of its operational envelope you will probably have a ball with the paddle shifters and never look back. In that case, I wish you guys the best. Have fun.
