Maggie dyno guesstimates (L99)
I'm headed out to the dyno tomorrow afternoon to get everything checked for Jannetty and I wanted to hear what you guys think I should be running for HP numbers? As the title says, I have the L99 and the Magnacharger TVS 2300. I am only running the stock 3.8 pulley and stock air box for the time being. I do have 1 7/8 LT headers, high-flow cats, Borla axle-back S-type and a SCT from the magician, Jannetty.
What should I be running? For what it's worth, it is a Mustang dyno. I know these dynos typically produce less HP than their Dynojet counterpart. |

Very nice!! Looks sweet. Unfortunately, I do not see a cam or ported heads in my future, but thanks for the post.

Yeah, I've read that the Mustang dyno numbers are typically 10-12% lower, which is exactly what you're saying. Even the owner of the shop said that guys are always disappointed with their results on this dyno, but he likes it because its much more "real world". It's an impressive system. You can see how it's able to simulate real driving conditions. It can put an amazing amount of pressure/resistance on the rear wheels. I'll be happy with 440-450 on this dyno. We'll see....
