I installed the aac halos. I also bought the key fob controller. Anybody find a hot wire up front to power the controller box? Would like to be able to run halos without running headlights or fogs.

They are currently hooked to the lug in front of the fuse box where the main cable comes from the battery, but it sets off the check engine light.

hook them to the side marker light wires then there on with running lights

Would an in-line fuse correct the check eng. light????
