TSB's get them done!
I have to say as one who has major problems with my top that refusing to let the dealerships do the non-invasive repairs is not advisable. If you already have actual holes then you should wait to here a final word on replacement but for those experiencing light rub marks or wind noise that do not require top removal do it! Sure the tape thing seems silly but if it prevents you from having further damage what is the harm? The TSB on grinding down the headliner bracket works if done properly and does not require disassembly of the top. If it stops your marks from becoming holes it is worth a trip to the dealer. I am not being an apologist for GM but you all know I am going thru some head and heartache with my car but that is mechanical in nature. I am in no way trying to minimize your individual plights but at least give them a chance to resolve the problem. Remember you are still all under warrantee. If you get the ''repairs'' done and they don't work, fine, it is now documented and I don't believe they can be make it any worse. This is only my opinion so take it or leave it.

If you have the original top try and keep it as long as possible. New tops are coming but the current replacement tops are a poor substitute and if done incorrectly lead to other issues. The tape and bracket fixes are worth doing to prevent further damage in most cases.

I called my dealer today to get them done. I barely have any rub marks, but going to get them taken care of as soon as possible, to avoid any other potential problems or a top replacement.

I believe I'll take mine in to help with the wind noise and stuff. Not a lot of it to be annoying but doesn't hurt to get it done.

jsherm, the only way to know for sure if the tsbs do apply to your vehicle would be to have your dealer take a look at your Camaro to check it against the documentation. Also make your intentions known. Let them know that you're looking to address these issues without removing the top (if that's what you're going for). That goes for everyone going this route. Make sure your dealer knows what you want so that there is no problem with communication between you, them and us. I hope this helps you guys.
