Black chrome vs. Powdercoated wheels
I have a black on black SS. I was getting ready to powdercoat my wheels black (probably satin) but the company doing them also does the stock wheels in black chrome. I have never seen black chrome wheels in person. So my question is, on a blacked out camaro, what would look better in your opinion? Thanks for the help. Any suggestions and pics of stockers black chromed of powdercoated are welcome. Thanks again.

my car has powder coated black stock rims i like them alot and have gotten alot of compliments alot of ppl thought they were new rims

i remember seeing a member here with stock black chrome rims on a black ss and it looked better than other pictures that ive seen with flat black rims.

Wonder how the black chrome would look on IOM, was thinking matte or black chrome, anyone seen it on an orange one?

BTW for Black Chrome there's black chrome and black nickel..
Black Chrome is a darker chrome with a gold/copper tint......Black nickel is the deep black-chrome.. Black chroming is a triple dipped process (its a bit on the expensive side) while black nickel is about the same price as chroming a set. |
