Think about it..2014's are out now, thats 3 model years since the initial design and still nothings been put out. Vararam was initially saying back in 2011 that the "new design" would be out soon, and it never happened.

Look into New Era Performance if you want an OTR style intake...otherwise stick with ADM, CAI, Roto-fab, Air-raid, etc.

Thank you sir!!

Too bad really, I wanted the Varanam, I liked the concept like a lot.

Guess it's going to have to now be a CAI with washer relocate kit, but man they get pricey fast.

I already posted a WANTED ad in the classifieds should anyone stumble upon this and need to let one go.

Just to make it easier to see.

Or go to the source...

NOT that this will cut down on the amount of folks that ask which one is best. Nor to say that this is the be all, end all of data, but it is some data.

PCM adjusting fueling to maintain stoich (14.7). Takes O2 narrowband input to signal injector pulse width. So the percentage + or - are fuel changes occurring constantly in closed loop.

Negative % subtracting fuel for rich condition

The Mass Air meter measures the air coming in to the engine, the computer calculates the fuel needed, the O2 sensor check the oxygen content left over after combustion.

The Fuel trim is to correct for error in air measured coming in to the engine to get the Air fuel ratio back to Stoich or 14.6789

It is the aftermarket air intake systems that will cause the error in measurement of the air mass.

The closer to Zero fuel trim the better the system design.

Hope this helps.

CreeperRS did this in March 2015. Here's the link to the thread:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=385592

Results start at post 134. Looks like 16 RWHP peak.
