Need some ideas and pics for IOM - spears or hockey stripes, gloss black or flat? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm picking up an IOM SS/RS tomorrow, IO interior and the RS painted wheels. It has no stripes, and I could use some ideas on something easy to do myself. Taking a long 3 week trip down south with it over the holidays, and i'd like to personalize it a bit before I go.

Next year I'll probably do custom painted-on SS stripes, but I just want to do some easy tasteful decals for now.

I'm thinking hood spears and the qtr panel gills... Or maybe hockey stripes.

Opinions or pics on what looks good on IOM. I'm leaning toward gloss black hood spears. Can any of the vendors do lettering in the hood spears that match the IOM? I'm thinking of just a simple SS in the spears. If there isn't an IOM lettering match, maybe a gloss black spear with a silver SS to go with the wheel color?

Any ideas and pics would be appreciated. I've only got about a week and a half before I am leaving on the trip. Any graphics vendor you can recommend that can deliver quick?

Someone on the site has a gorgeous IOM SS with lots of beautiful black trimming - mirrors, stripes, etc. Looks great! Find it and check it out...

Thanks, I think that gloss black looks great with the IOM. Now I'm definately leaning toward gloss black spears. Maybe with just an SS in there or a bowtie.

Personally, I'd black out the GFX exhaust trim rings

We have an option of cutting text into the decal so whatever color you install them on, the color shows through for the text.

If you order them this weekend and they will ship Monday.
