Still to much salt/sand left over from the last storm. We need a good drenching rain to clean the roads Ryan

I've had a number of convertibles and have done roofs myself.. I did drive them in the winter but always garaged and avoided being out in the snow when possible... You can do a lot of damage to the roof if you're not careful sweeping the snow/ice off.

My vert will never see snow, don't want to damage the canvas with all that nasty salt and grime on the roads. I though about taking it out of the garage but the driveway still had some snow so it stayed in lol. Just a few more weeks though.

There is some green in that pic I know you folks that grow up in the desert don't give it a second thought, but I just don't know how you live without grass and some significant foliage! |

An hour west of Toronto here, I drive my 13' - 2SS all year round. Had it rust proofed, oe color matched mud flaps, WeatherTechs and 20" Pirelli Snow Sports....all good. Mind you, if it is bad out, I don't HAVE to drive it, so that does make a difference...sometimes it sits for 3 days or so without moving. My wife has a Tacoma 4X4, so we take that when it's nasty out and I have the option of working from home luckily.
This past weekend the temperature was about -31'C or (-24'F), just cold not snowing, and I took the Convertible Camaro out as it has remote start and heated seats...the Tacoma is cold as hell! |
