Have you noticed that if you are on the highway in the passing lane that people just move over for you?

Well I have!

Maybe its the headlights or the look of the front end but when ever i am on the highway and i come up on another car they always move to the right lane to let me pass

Not in the Toronto area they don't.

I wish the provincial police would target "left lane hogs" as much as they do the aggressive drivers.

I can't even count the number of times I had to pass someone on the right because they didn't move over. Around here in TO the defacto highway speed is 120 and I'm not overly aggresive on the highway. I've had many instance where I have the person a good minute to notice me right up their ass to get them to move over before giving up and passing on the right. Annoying as hell.

I am not kidding at all. Around Calgary people do move over when i get close. I am thinking its the awesome headlights.

Everyone seems to get out of my way for the most part. Except for the odd ocasion. Generally everyone gets out of my way. I think seeing those halos coming barroling down in peoples mirrors is a good enough indicator to get out of the way

I will have to agree that there is general feeling around the GTA that half of the drivers on the road are oblivious as to what's going on around them. My all time most frustrating moments come when I get stuck behind TWO people on a 70km/h road both doing 60 RIGHT BESIDE EACH OTHER! No one seems to ever remember that there are two lanes for a reason. If you feel like taking a Sunday drive in the middle of the week, stay to one side so everyone else doesn't have to pile up behind you!

When I was driving my 94 Z, people would tend to move over when I came flying up from behind, but in my new Camaro, it seems like people tend slow down and not move over, forcing me to pass on the right. It drives me NUTS!!! There is no lane discipline here in Toronto.
