Best CAI?

Going to have the lingenfelter 650 upgrade installed, but which cold air intake would be best for this package? I have already ordered the roto-fab, but the kit comes with the lingenfelter cai kit. Or does it even matter?

once you tune I don't think it will matter much. the advantage of the rotofab in my eyes was it did not need a tune so you could buy it and add mods later.

once you have to tune I think most of the CAI's are very similar in HP from all the restults I have seen.

The lingenfelter CAI is a roto-fab. That is their supplier.

I ordered the Lingenfelter 630 kit, and they told me that they were the same and that Roto-fab was the supplier. If I had my car with me I would take a pic. Maybe someone else can confirm this.

That's cool, the shop doing the lingenfelter 650 install said they will deduct the cost of the lingenfelter CAI. So I'll keep the Roto-Fab and save alittle money.

As long as the shop plans on doing their own custom chassis dyno calibration. Our air intake is not the same as Roto-Fab's so we can not guarantee that the calibration that we send out for our kit will work with their air intake too.

Thanks for clearing that up.
