Crowley's Car

Picked it up on June 2nd. I have an appointment on June 29th to take it down to ADM and get the ARH Headers installed and a dyno tune. I should be doing a before and after dyno so I'll post up results.

I do plan on eventually replacing the axelback as soon as some more become available. I'm thinking something withe magnaflows in it will give a nice sound.

Additional plans include an Air Intake .. I'll wait to see what is out there and available. I also plan on doing 20x10 or 20x11s on the back with 315s on them and put 20x9s up front with 265s or 275s on them.

If MGW comes out with a shifter I will plan on putting that in the car.

That might be it for a while unless I get the itch. I'll be saving up for either a Magnacharger, KB, or Whipple in the future at some point in time.

I look forward to seeing what others do to their cars and learning from their experiences.

Other than wheels, I am not planning for any visual mods. This could change depending on what the aftermarket comes up with

Crowley,
Looking forward to see the gains from the ARH headers. Please post pics and how much room you have after sticking those 315 under the back.

So I have about 650 miles on the car so far. I have opened it up a few times and the car is very deceptive as to how fast it gets to 80mph Monday (June 29th) is getting closer and closer and I am getting excited about the AHR headers and Tune that will be happening that day. I am also having them weld in an 02 bung for future when I want to get FI and include an Air/Fuel wideband gauge. I am also excited because Andy will hopefully have his 427 car there with the 3 in magnaflow axelback installed. This is what I will be looking to do in the NEAR future after the AHR install (the axelback that is not the 427 )

I also inquired to LMR about their CAI and may try to get one before Monday if possible. I will do a baseline dyno and then a dyno after all the work is done. I'll post all the information I can!

There were some dyno issues late last week and they expect it to be up and running by Tuesday (6/30). That being said, I have rescheduled to Tuesday.

AHR header system and tune install yesterday. I am very happy with the gains. You can read about it here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30365 .

I will be getting the magnaflow muffer system to get a better sound that I want. Stay posted for a vid soon.

Nice set up. Did you give it a tune? And, have you gotten a check engine light yet from the header install?

Update. I have had 2 check engine lights related to the O2 Sensors. I have had this fixed in the tune so I won't get these and ADM is working with the vendor on a solution that won't need the tune to resolve this.

The car is running strong and we have had a couple of cool mornings (70 - 80 degrees) and the car just loves that

I think it is time to take the car to the next level. I have been in touch with ADM performance and am thinking about the following install:

TVS 2300
Blower cam and supporting mods
I have a new era air intake on order
KB BAP
Tune for it all

I am going to put wheels on the back burner for right now ..

I'll keep you all posted ..
