Might get lucky and it'll fit perfect.

Are you running solid motor mounts? Trans mount?

We've already done a preliminary fit test... It fits perfectly in the console bin...

We'll havea couple of looms leading to it so that we can lift it out to change settings as needed...

motormounts and Trans mount... Solid... uhhhh... no...

Still on the soft factory one actually... I may go to a substantially stiffer one, but with the solid subframe mounts and delrin bushings, the ride would becoem pretty rough... think buckboard... I am considering some stiffer ones though to eliminate the movement of the turbo piping as the motor torques over...

You will eventually have to go with solids or musclemounts. With the torque you make it only takes one hard launch and that factory driver's side motor mount will look like a Cuisinart hit it.

Nice build thread. I saw your car over at HPT many moons ago. Corey is a friend of mine and I try to get up there to bust his balls whenever I can.

Gotta love the camo pants! lol

Woo Hoo...

I just got word from Corey that my new Transmission will be ready at RSG tomorrow.

I'm sure shipping will take a week or so, and then Corey and co will have to remove the old one, fabricate a new/or modify the old crossmember, and take the driveshaft to be modified after they take the necessary measurements.

I had no idea it would be ready so quick... I may be driving Brandi by the 3rd of April or so with all the new bad parts in her...
