Jacking in the wrong spot

I have a '13 Camaro V6 and I mistakenly jacked the car in the wrong spot.
There is a small dink on the bottom in the passenger area. Does anyone know if this is worth repairing and if it'll cause any long term damage to the chassis?

I didn't know what I was going to encounter in this thread based on the title. I was thinking an arrest...

Dear Penthouse...I never thought it would happen to me. You see I was caught jacking in the wrong spot by our maid, Sophie...

I would not bother with that little dent. I doubt it would ever be noticed by anyone but you.

Where is that? Put a block of wood on the jack saddle to spread the weight over a larger area. Looks rather minor to me. Leave it be.

Jacking outside of a school or playground is usually frowned upon so I'd say yes, you can jack in the wrong spot.

Great come backs guys. But it worries me how some of you know where jacking is wrong.

Seriously, I would let a body shop look at it. Have them see if you might have compromised any sealing in that area.

You probably didn't but it doesn't hurt to look.

Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about fixing it.

I use hockey pucks on my floor jack. Let it go should be no big deal.

In the future work with these photos.

Thx for the diagram and responses. Looking at the diagram by rtcat600man it looks very minor.
