I think the term you were looking for was self-fulfilling prophecy, not placebo, Erik.

Good to hear you are happy with your Watts.

Steeda just released an X-brace for the s197. Maybe Erik should try it.

Erik, nobody here said it wouldn't do 'anything'. It was only your mention that it somehow "further support(s) counter acting the tendency of the rear inner wheel to lift in hard turns" that garnered attention.

Well, let's see what Steeda and FRPP claim their versions of the X brace do. Erik

I already quoted the percentage increase in stiffness (regarding the Ford X brace) in post #32.

As to Steeda's claims...did anyone expect different? Like adding plywood to the framing of a house, it creates a stronger structure by countering the effect of a lateral load. In this case, it should allow the suspension to be more consistent given its design. Nothing new here.

Note that neither mention any reduction in reducing inner wheel lift, as you put it.

Exactly, with the X brace, a Watts Link removing lateral movement of the frame and removing the lateral push to the car over bumps, combined with wider tires would promote the 2013 GT500 to being a ZL1 contender in the corners. Erik

THAT "X" IN BACK means don't even THINK about putting more than 2 people in your car.

If you don't mid the MUSTANG script that is cut into the upper plate, you could always find a way to add the FRPP X brace to your car. I added one to my '09 Mustang yesterday.
