Final Mod...Hex Vents

I know, famous last words..."final" mod. Anyway, I put Hex Vents in this weekend. I love the look, quality of the product, and the fact the I can actually see heat escaping from the hood at stoplights. I have to say, this is the first mod I've done that I can actually see functioning from inside the car.

While a short list for many on this forum, I'm quite happy with my mods below:
  • Longtubes
  • Corsa Cat-back
  • Lowered 1.25"
  • wheels
  • Vararam
  • Hex Vents
  • 3.91 Gears
  • Tuned by True Street Motorsports
Dyno'd at 423whp

Thinking it's time to take it to the track next Friday and see what it'll do; or it may be better said, what I can get it to do. Hopefully my friend from True Street will go with and run it as well. He's been going to the drag strip most of his life.

I'll buy the wheels for $27, a mickey mouse picture frame and two sticks of string cheese. Well actually, I want the picture frame but the rest is fair game.

You drive a hard bargain, but I'll have to pass without the frame.

Thanks. I'm a fan of the new vent on the '14s as well.

I looked at plenty of pics, and read many posts, regarding the Hex Vents before purchasing. I good as I thought they looked in the pics online, they look even better in person.

Looks great! Won't be the final mod, though. You'll find something...

Sean, at True Street, is a good friend of mine. I'm not there often, I do most of the work on my cars these days. Sean tuned it, and you know few tune better, and he installed my gears.
