My shopping list (input needed)

So I just bought my Car a few days ago and I can't even wash it because after reading post here I need some quality products. I'm trying to put together a list and was wondering if I can get some input.

2 buckets 1 for clean water and 1 for soap.

Optimum car wash for soap

I was wondering what I should use for the black plastic areas on my car so that they dont fade.

I use Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel. I also have used Stoners More Shine Tire Shine as well. Both work well.

That's an excellent start.

For trim look into ultima trim and tire guard plus.

It can get expensive but I'd also buy two grit guards for the buckets and some wax. The list can go on and on but those are some essentials.

Thanks for the recommendation! On the Chemical guys one did you find yourself having to reapply constantly? Based on some of the reviews that was the biggest issue.

There are so many options for buckets and grit guards. Do they pretty much all work the same?

I will admit it does not stay as shiny after driving in the rain, but is still looks pretty damn good. That goes for both the CG and Stoners.

I use one of these on all my cars (and have been washing my cars since the 1960's!).
