help! i have questions..v6ers

ive always loved hooker headers.. they stopped production at the 2007 model of cars.. plus my camaro is a v6 so i know it wont sound like the 76 stingraye my family had.. but i just am not a fan of mrt's axle backs, catbacks, they just sound.. dare i say it, ricer-y. i was wondering if anyone had something that was louder, with maybe a louder idle is what im looking for.. i guess for anyone who has had or heard hookers headers know what i mean.. if anyone can throw me a line perhaps in a different direction from the basic exhausts' id greatly appreciate it.

I don't understand, are you looking for headers or exhaust setup?

I see you said you are not a fan of the MRT v2. You need to hear them on the car. I helped run a car club last year and we have 30 plus people in it all clogging the parking lot at hooters. I have to say mine was in the top 2 for sound quality of all the ones there. The other guy had a bit deeper tone but there was a catch. His was loud all the time. You could not turn it off. My MRT v2's allow you to drive quietly until you want to let it rip. Then watch out its deafening. Now each to his own on sound. But make sure you see them in person. After a year plus I am loving mine tons. Tell us what you buy.

CherryBomb's v8 kit with the stock manifolds or shorties. If you go with longtubes, I'm going to recommend the v6 kit(still 2 1/2" front to rear) as it will kill the drone that comes with the longtubes.
