That is actually considered a pistol... An SBR would have a stock and/or a foregrip to be considered a rifle. The pistol configuration saves you the $200 tax stamp.

Also don't pay attention to the names. There are only 4 company's that actually manufacturer the parts for the basic AR-15 and they are all IDENTICAL. If you pay anymore then $700 for the gun then you are paying just for the name. I have a Delton (which is based right here in the Carolina's ) which I only paid $600 for brand new. The same people that supplies the parts for a $1,200 Colt also supplies the exact same parts to Delton and I guarantee you my Delton will shoot just as good and just as accurate as that Colt. |

A SBR is nice, but the wait on the form 4 is not so nice....6 months plus nowadays! I love my Colt 6920. I have about 15 ARs in 5.56, 6.8, 7.62x51, 300blkout. And a bunch i built...both lowers/uppers, a couple SBRs and an AR pistol. The Colt is probably my favorite.

Skip, I've never carried in the small of the back, but I like small leather OWB holsters. If you're not going to be very active, thumb break isn't really necessary. Pistol model and caliber will probably limit your choices unless you get a custom made job. This Tagua is comfortable with a short 1911

Well looks like I'm going to be getting a new piece. Father in law wants to get rid of his xd-40 subcompact. Sure it will be free/cheap, so can't say no! :-)
Been wanting something small to keep in the garage. Even better, I am buying his Fort Knox safe, so I can keep all my goodies safe.

I don't know what type of .380 you carry but try here for some good choices for back pocket concealed carry. http://www.holsterpro.com/products.php
I keep a S&W Bodyguard in one of these and it's about the same as a wallet in your back pocket. They are good quality hand made leather holsters. |

Crossbreed Supertuck.. IMO if you carry concealed you have to own a Crossbreed.
