VMaxx TB reveiws

Looking at going with the Vmaxx TB. Is this upgrade worth doing. Not excepting major HP gains but would be happy with crisper throttle response. Any problems after install? Thanks in advance for your input.

I put mine on over the weekend along with a cai and scoop. It was definately snappier. I'm sure the cai played a part in that but I think it was worth the buck fifty. No cel's, careful not to over tighten the bolts, they don't need much torque.

Added 4rwhp and 4rwtq with mine. Worth it. The throttle response was very noticeable!

recently installed the same mods here and definitely some more power and quicker throttle response.

Not sure about the HP increase although several before and after dyno tests prove it to be beneficial. I definitley noticed throttle response improvement.

Figure that's on par for the cost of what a CAI is supposed to do for you. $300+ for a CAI and an advertised gain of 8+ HP. It will be one of my next mods, although I will be likely be getting it and the SCT tuner from JRE and one of his tunes to go along. And the bonus of a snappier throttle response doesn't hurt either.

How much is he charging for the core exchange? He is very close to me, so I could go that route.

You happy with the throttle response? After all the cars I have had, the one thing I didnt complain about with this car was throttle response, but I guess it can always be better? lol
