Dumb question time, Radiator drain valve
It's always the dumb stuff that holds me up... Last time I had to drain my radiator I could not get the drain valve to open to save my life. I ended up taking off a lower hose.
Is there a trick to opening that little bastard?

I usually take the lower hose off till I get a slow stream of fluid flow.
Those pet cocks are a PITA.

I found a socket that fits on it perfectly and ratcheted it off ever so gently. I fought it with my fingers upside down for a bit too.
