Some people here don't seem to realize that even the crappiest example of a fourth generation turbo Supra is still going to be worth upwards of $20,000. Stock ones in good condition go for $30,000+

IMO not many have actually seen a supra run. Sometimes you have to stop drag racing on the Internet. Supras destroy the streets in all the big events. A lot are starting to build gtrs now but supras are still nasty!

Yes, I agree. I very rarely see mk4 Supras, but usually when I do it's not a question of if they are fast, it's a question of how fast. The amount of 800+ hp supras running around is absurd. People buy these cars specifically to build them into highway super car hunters and boy are they good at it. This is one of my favorite examples

If his Supra is built and setup correctly even if it looks raggedy I would take the Supra in a race. I had a friend in college that had a 94 model that he did a single turbo swap and it made 900hp at I think 21psi. Granted he drove it around town at 9psi, but that was a sick car. I still like the ZL1 and think the best answer is to get him on the track and see what they both do!

It's hard to tell dark/camera but did the front end come up a bit when he punched it?

Wow.

If you found one at this price range jump on it. Last ones I looked at wereall 40k plus for a stock TT.

-Before someone asks about my username... I've never owned a supra but I was obsessed with them back when I first started going on forums and I just kept the name. As far as the OP I would advise that you do not mess with a modded Supra without at least 600whp on a camaro

Always race a TT Supra from a dig. You might be completely surprised by the outcome even if they have a lot more power than you.

I made that mistake in high school a few years back. The guy I raced had a crap box, dents in the side and ect, but he had serious work under the hood. Might be the case here so play it safe.
The first car I went over 120mph in was a twin turboSupra. Beat a Corvette who had a rolling start on us. I was a 17y old passenger (now 35).Thats when I got the speed bug. It was the GTR of 1995 IMO.
