Well. I had just finished working on my daughters car (changing her brakes) and drove around the block to check them out. Well Speeding up and braking saved me because when I rounded the corner, there 3 of them were! I waved as I passed.

I pull into my driveway and go and get my mini-me and walk to the end of the street to ask them if they would mind taking a staged photo with my Camaro. We got there and would watch them first so they wouldn't be weird about asking for the staged photo.

They pulled a couple over and came back. About that time I thought we would go and ask them when the lights came on and one of them pulled out. They just got someone!

MY DAUGHTER in my wifes car! 61 in a 45!!!

I WAS PISSED!!! I told them You could give her a warning because she is graduating tonight... so with that... they yelled at me for being on the road next to where she stopped (10 feet away)!

One HECK of a Graduation gift from COWETA COUNTY!

I would have made up a sign and posted it up the road from them

COPS AHEAD!! i figure if they can hide I can warn.

You were pissed? I hope it would be at your daughter. She was well over the speed limit. I'm sorry, but your reaction towards the cops is completly off base. If that were my daughter SHE would be the one to get the talking to.

I think you read it wrong...... I highly doubt he was mad that the cops were stopping his daughter.... surely he was mad at the daughter.

You are in GEORGIA

That state is insane when it comes to speeding laws. Its all good though, because it works.... but it certainly isn't a state where you can expect to get any kindness from the cops.

I thought that my daughter was still at graduation practice! I wasn't expecting her for 2 more hours but the got done early. She was coming home BUT my wifes car has an intermittant issue with the speedometer. Sometimes it works fine but sometimes it drops to 0 until we stop and restart the car.

Yup. Ever since Bo Darville "Bandit" made those Georgia State Troopers look silly in Smokey and the Bandit they've been pissed off at pony car types.
