Wow, 28K miles, whew... you made me feel better. lol I’m exactly on the same path as you with 7K in the 3 months I’ve had mine.

No issues at all with mine, other than the occasional stares from 'stangs

Daily driver with over 12,000 mi. These cars don't do bad on snow just know that the tire on the 20" gets hard when temps drop down making in loose traction.

Hi, I live in San Diego, California. Should I be worried about driving my car in the winter time? I have seen temps reach a very low 50 degrees (I always have to dig out my sweatshirt).

I'm in San Diego too... every xmas I call my family in Michigan and tell them how cold it is down here.

Once I get my 2011 2ss, it'll be my daily driver too.

Mine is a daily driver and I couldn't be any happier....besides having a chip or two in the paint from rocks being thrown on the beast. It's holding up well in the TX heat, had the car for a month and already put 3,000 miles on it!

How will the tires react? Should I adjust my driving style when the temp drops this low? Would snow tires be a good investment? I can't find anyone who sells tire chains within a 200 mile radius.

19,300 miles on mine and it's doing great as my DD. I have a few chips in the gills from rocks but that's it.

Do you live in Ramona or Julian? cause San Diego doesn't get Snow in the winter.

Anyways, you should be fine, just drive smart
