Need advice fixing small bumper dent

I managed to put a weak dent in my front bumper last night and I assume it is easily fixed but I am a newb. I can push the dent out with my fingers and I'm pretty sure this is just weak plastic (a shrub created this dent -_-) but it wants to stay this way. Whats the best way to go about pushing this thing out permanently?

So was this. Never did get anything done about it, don't notice it anymore. And I care for my car's exterior than my own body.

I figured this could easily be fixed by applying heat and pressing it back into place but I wanted to see what people have to say about it first.

I have some scrapes on my rear bumper that I don't plan on touching either but this dent pisses me off, especially because it was avoidable. Any more opinions?

I've had luck with a heat gun and a little force, pushing a dent on a plastic Jeep Wrangler bumper back in to place. However, it was unpainted. I would worry about stressing the paint more and making a noticeable spider. However, with some properly applied heat (not too much) and access to the back you may be able to get it to go back into place without too much issue. Good luck!
