Paddle shifters are very poorly designed

Has this been brought up? I hope so because it is a major design flaw; how does the Malibu have better ones? Something tells me this will be the first revision in the 2011 version.

Your sarcasm is ironic because anything negative on this board is always shouted down as if there could never be an actual issue with the Camaro.

Plenty of people have issues with the car but in the big scheme of things they are minor.

I drove a Malibu and I didn't like it...

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with these "buttons" not paddle shifters. Unless, you want + and - on both sides?

I really haven't used them enough to get used to them, but I do believe it is just a learning issue. From what I have used them, they are surprisingly quick... i guess i expected much longer delay (never had paddle shifters before).

It's no substitute for a manual, nor would I expect that. But i, so far, am happy with the quality of the paddles in the automatic.

Looks like we joined this board around the same time... I've seen plenty of negative, but yes it has been about the minor things. As a mass, I believe we all are proud of the machine that Chevy built us... and give thanks!

Haven't you seen the thread about what people would like to see improved?? People are honest here, we don't hide anything.

Same here, I have not used them much.
Seem easy to use. Always a Noob making comments like this with no substance.

Some people are not happy unless they have something to complain about. Still don't understand what's the problem and since I don't have a Malibu to jump into I guess I won't.

Actually I find the Sport Mode calibration to work amazingly well! In fact I find it works so well, i really don't use the paddles... I love that after a hard acceleration and then when you start doing some hard braking, the computer does some really aggressive downshifting!
