Be careful. Some of those kits are junk, and if they work, you often lose high beams or they fall apart. Beware, I speak from experience on this.

am i the only one who misread the title at first as "Has anyone gotten kids from e-bay?"

just be careful what you get and be sure to read the reviews that people have left for that item. the customer feedback can stop you from buying junk or verify that something is of good quality.

I didn't mess around and got my kit from AAC...Great customer service, lifetime warranty on lamps and ballast.

I have bought all my kits from Ebay and the only issue I had was a bad ballast. As for High and Low beams, just get the Bi-xeon kit and your bulb is high and low.

I replaced mine with 6k bulbs from ebay when I first got the car.
Its at 28k miles right now and still no issues.

I really wish there is a good foglight HID solution for RS model camaros though....everyone I saw has had issues with melting or not working right.

The brand really didn't matter to me. I have gotten the digital slim ballasts and the regular ones too. The digital slims are more expensive, but the work better for fog lights because they are easier to mount. All of my vehicles have HIDs. My Camaro, Stratus, Expedition and my motorcycle.

When buying stuff like this on Ebay, be smart. If the poster doesn't post the brand then stay away. Google whatever brand they are selling and do your research.

did any of you need to buy anything else or just bought the Ebay hid kit, installed and no issues? I heard that you need some kind of harness so the hid's work with the driving lights

The VVME brand kits seem to work very well, when I was in Alaska that's what almost everyone I knew, or met through people had on their cars... From the questions I asked, they had very little problems at all with them... You can also buy direct from VVME, and cut out the middle man. I have bought a set for my Chevelle, but have not installed them yet, but looks like pretty decent quality stuff.
