You are not far from AGP so I would give em a call or go see em. Pulled the engine in prep for the worse case, I was lucky! I was gonna replace with forged if it was tore up.
Thanks,

Since your in the Great State of Texas, are you going to go do the Texas Mile w/ you new turbo set up :-) Just for the heel of it of course because you need to ante up out there w/ 1500 rwhp just to get noticed lol.... For me though all that power is a waste, you cant put it to the ground, give me 500-600 rwhp for the street and I'm good, its fast enough to kill most exotics and will easily outrun an motorcycle pig who happens to get cute and try to give me a ticket, I get a lot of enjoyment out of ruining the day of many AZ Highway Patrolmen. I would love to be a fly on the wall when they have to explain to their superiors why they couldn't catch a certain motorized vehicle...lol...lol...

Remove a plastic air dam. Trim the radiator fan shroud. The rest just bolts on.

Air filters are about the mid point of the tires. If you are that deep in water you are also flooding water in through the doors and have bigger issues. That is like worrying about if you are going to get water in your mufflers because the outlets on the mufflers are close to the ground.

Kit is easy to self install. No drillings, or major mods.

Mikesanto70, AGP is in Tempe right off 101/University. The one owner lives in Scottsdale in fact. Swing by and check out a kit. They can install it or there are other vendors around that can. There are 4-5 TT cars running around in the valley from 600-1000+rwhp. Most are in the 640-680 range which is where the base kit on stock car lands up.

That being said, ~700-730rwhp seems like a sweet spot in a 5th gen. Still gets traction and is quick, without getting crazy. My car makes 1000+ along with some other locals and hooking up isn't an issue if you have the correct tires/etc.
