Has anyone ran straight pipes on a V6? I installed the borla axle backs on mine and removed the resonators. It was a complete bust! It doesn't sound anything like what borla said it would or showed in their sample video. Since they are clamp on I was going to take them off to see what it sounded like, but I wanted to see if anyone had already done it. Also what is the muffler/resonator thing just behind the H pipe in the exhaust? I saw a couple of set ups with a magnaflow muffler/resonator in that spot and was thinking about doing that as a possibility as well. Magnaflow seems to be one of the more used mufflers on the V6, does anybody have an opinion on this. I know the V6 will never sound like the V8, but surely I can get it close. I would like to see what set up people are using so let me know what you got... I listend to all of the videos on the exhauat thread, but I would still like to know what LFX engine people are using.

I like the loud start up. I went with MRT v1, but reading about drone, I just added j-pipes to be safe. Never tried them without the j-pipes, so, don't even know if there was drone. But, fixed it anyway. I like them.
