MCCC & CKCC the year in review

Music City Camaro Club & Central Kentucky Camaro Clubs have had a pretty good year. I can't wait to plan & get started on a new year full of great events (hopefully without so many difficult times for myself & other club members). I want to thank all my Camaro comrads in both clubs & here on C5 for supporting me through the last 2 stressful years. This Thread is to celebrate all the great times this year has given us. I will post a few of my pics at a time. Other club members please post some of your favorite pics & moments for the year as well. Happy holidays & best wishes for a great New Year to everyone.

Starting with the Ashland City Car Show:

It was soooooooooo cool that every club member in attendance won an award at Hogs & Hot Rides show!

Also uber cool that everyone walked away with something at Horses & Horsepower in Louisville. Camaro 54 (Phil) won best Modified, Black Beauty (Tammy) Won best non-modified (we are guessing they meant performance mods -LOL) And I won the cash door prize (I'll take that every time)!

We had a blast when the Tennessee Crew cruised up to Bowling Green's Corvette Museum to meet up with Kentucky folks then cruised together to Somerset for the F-Body highlight Car Show.

Okay that's all for tonight, I have an early start to my day tomorrow & am fighting off a bad cold. But this is only the beginning of the highlights of our year. More to come.

Then there was the thrill of the huge convoy of not only our Camaros, but a wide variety of muscle, hot rod & classic cars that cruised from Nashville, to Bowling Green then to Somerset for the Somernights Power Cruise. Meeting up with other groups cruising in from Paducah, Lexington, Memphis, etc so we could cruise in all the 5th Generation Camaros together & park together.

And who could forget the Holley LS Fest, Bowling Green, Ky. Rain dampened the ground and our cars but not our spirits. We got to watch some world class drag racing & drift racing, competed in the car show and got our cars on the dyno followed by the Ligenfelter Camaro who blew us totally away but what fun!

Edit: I forgot one important pic from LS fest. I can't add it here so I will add it to the end. I still need to add some video clips to this year summary. There were several other cool evdents I did not get to attend. Come on MCCC members add your pics!

There was the Meguire's Show & Shine, Oak Grove, Ky. Only a few of us went but it was a great day. I was thrilled to meet Barry Meguire & that my dad finally got to see my Ruby in a car show.

Then there was the huge day of the Springfield, TN YMCA car show in the morning & the 1st annual Music City Fest that evening with the car show & drag racing event. Oh, now we are talking seriously good times & pain-in-the-face inducing permagrins.

Then some of us raced at Beach Bend Raceway just for fun..........MEGA FUN! The rest of you really missed out.

We're not done yet! I have not yet posted the Springfield Payne Chevrolet show, the hugely successful Ft Campbell Show, and other pics. I do need help from other members though. I was not able to attend all the events so I need you guys to add your pics of those events as well as adding your pics of these events. Wow! we had a great year but no doubt we are going to top it next year. It is late tonight and near my bedtime so more to come tomorrow.

And How could I forget the Camaro Chrome Show. Weather kept some folks home, but those of us who attended had a blast! Ruby win her first award! But of course Ruby could not really compete with Black Beauty & Turleylox who took the big prizes.
