You can have 5in pipes going all the way back but if you have it choked down to 2.5in at the end of the system, you're not going to flow any more than if there was 2.5in all the way back. Problem is solved. Let's just say I will be running a full 3" exhaust in a few weeks.

I put on Ceramic Coated Pacesetter L/T Headers with Magnaflow 4600 series cats. 3 inch pipes into Flowmaster S-10's and my sound is incredible. Borla cracks to much and I had it tuned even though I didnt need it to see if my HP increased and it did slightly but the sound is old school...there are so many exhaust systems out there but I had this done for about 1100.00 installed and new tipped.
