Anyone Work In The Auto Industry?
Right now I'm a Senior in High School and for a long time I've wanted to work in the Auto Industry. To make sure this is really what i wanted to do i just finished an auto maintanance class and got and "A" and loved it. I dont want to be a Technician. My plan right now is going to Southern IL University. They have an Automotive Technology Bachelors Degree. My dream is to work in GM. Everyone always asks me where Ii want to go with this major. I really have no idea.
Is there anyone on this forum that works in the industry. I would like to know what you do and how you got there. Thanks a lot

I work at a gm plant in wi. If you go to www.gm.com there is a link to careers at the very top of the page. I also know that gm has a program wherein they recruit engineers to work in various plants as sort of an apprenticeship deal....not sure what it all entails but its worth a shot.
