Nope, they sell quickly, that's why the price sits at MSRP. Not going down this road again so, good bye. I started a thread about Camaro's and their engines, that's what I want to talk about.

The LS7 engine (dealer option) is a fine addition to my 2SS automatic. It has all the power I need and still gets 15mpg in town and 22mpg on the road. Worst millage was about 8mpg when I am having lots of fun.

64 and still having fun!

If Challengers had the demand that Camaros and Mustangs do it would have a higher production rate. That is all I'm saying.

I don't think Chrysler would defy the laws of economics to ensure Dodge enthusiasts had a more unique car

But don't get me wrong I love the Chally and seriously considered getting one.

Of course, that's probably the issue. Anyway, Chevy could have three engines available, sort of like the Challenger (I said SORT OF, don't start, this is about the Camaro). A V-6, a V-8 and a V-8 on steroids (6.2 Liter supercharged, 556 hp and 551 ft/lbs torque). If they did it for the right price, say, even with the Challenger SRT8, I think Chevy would have a monster selling car with monsterous power, if they didn't get greedy. What do you think? How about it Chevy?
It wouldn't make sense. 2SS is a slight trim variation on the 1SS. Its akin to asking why didn't they put the LS3 in the 2LT. The car would be too different in price and performance to justify keeping the model name. A supercharged V8 would need to have a different designation. Besides, the SS is on par with the SRT8 performance wise, at the R/T's price.

It has been my experience that they do not sell quickly in my area. I have seen the same 3 sitting at my local dodge dealer for at least the last 2 months. Now I haven't driven one but it is my opinion that for what you get on paper the car is just out priced. I mean, how can you make the manual transmission a $1,000 option? That is B.S. and backwards. 20" wheels another $1300 option. By the time you option it out to a 1ss you've spent around 2ss money for a heavier, lower performing but albeit sexy ass car.

Excellent point, but if I wanted to buy a car no one else seems to have, I could always buy a Saturn Astra.

It isn't about how many there are, it's all about the car. I'm biased, but IMHO Chevy just made a better car than Ford or Chysler, hands down.
