418 all forged internals. 11.5 to 1 compression. Livernois stage 2C high lift cam. Livernois L92 power storm race series heads.
Naturally aspirated. I'm hoping to get 600 + crank shaft Hp on 93 octane pump gas.

I wish I had a garage that was heated to do things in. And part of me wishes my engine would blow up just so I can go 418 stroker all forged. I know it’s more expensive than supercharged, but something about getting as much freaking power as I can NA really excites me more Than it probbaly should.

I wanted to go NA because it seems like everyone is running blowers and turbos these days. The suspension isn't really ready for FI anyway.
After I get this up and running I've got a lot of things I need to up grade in the drive line and reinforcing the suspension. Maybe after that she'll be ready to try some FI.
I have another LS3 block and who knows down the road.
If I could win the lotto it would sure make this stuff easier.

That's an awesome build! I know what you mean about suspension being ready. Even after a short drive after the install of my LSA, I notice the added weight on the front end. Glad I installed the adjustable CO's first....

New clutch arrived. I went with the Lingenfelter ZR1 twin disk and steel flywheel kit.
It comes with new actuator and a spacer that allows it to fit the gen 5 camaro.
This set up was highly recommended to me for ease of fit, drive ability, and clamping strength.
I decided to just keep with the stock bleeder. The remote bleeder would probably be convenient but I don't really need it. Crawling underneath to bleed it isn't that difficult.
I have a set of the prothane motor mounts coming should be here next week.
I'll have the clutch mounted today.
Cleaning the engine bay and polishing aluminum parts so as soon as the mounts get here she's ready to start going back together.
Next thing on my mind is what I'm going to do with the IRS.
The OE drive shaft needs a new carrier. I don't have enough funds to completely upgrade the IRS like I would like to.
I'm thinking at this time, rather than put a new carrier on the OE shaft, I might go with a one piece aluminum drive shaft. Next question is CV joints or U-joints? Ahh decisions decisions

Livernois did the heads and block. I'm putting everything else together.
Once I get it running I'm going to have Livernois do the tuning.
