its more of a pain than its worth, my dad works at a dealership and they have more trouble with those keyless fobs.... they had one the other night that wouldn't lock the doors! Even if you'd hit the lock inside, it would just unlock as soon as you close the doors. A good ol key always worked for me

Same. Is it really that much of a chore to take the key out of your pocket, and stick it into the steering column?

I've heard that all the key does is emit a freq. to let the car start, and that this freq. can be replicated and transmitted by a cell phone, allowing someone to steal your car, without breaking a thing.

Also, as mentioned above, I like turning the key. I feel more connected with the car.

I thought the same thing after test driving the Grand Sport Vette. But then how difficult is it to turn the key? I kind of like turning the key.....what are we coming to? Those awesome muscle cars of the 70's didn't have push button starts and we love em!

I'm just happy with remote start. I love scaring people when they get near my car.

Not sure about that. I have seen an awful lot of ignitions lock up and fail in GM vehicles. All of the vehicles had less than 75K miles on them. Cobalt, Sunfire, Grand Am x 2, and a Chevy Impala...all 2003 models or newer. So maybe a push button would be nice?

I'll take old over new any day of the week. All new cars look the same, and are all very bland.

Bonnies Lexus had it and now her C6 has it.

I do wish the Camaro had it. It's just a flat out cool feature. My hands are often full and it's nice to be able to just keep the key in my pocket.

Not a deal breaker, but a cool feature for sure.

Why?

I mean that's fine, but if you don't just WANT pushbutton start, then you shouldn't care either way?
